Makes 8 - 10 pieces
Ingredients:-
250g Plain Flour *
1 tsp Baking Powder *
1/2 tsp Salt * ( * sifted together )
55g Shortening
175ml Warm Water ( I used 50ml Warm Milk + Warm Water slightly more than 175ml )
Method:
Rub shortening into flour mixture and add water to form a smooth dough.
Cover with cling film and rest 15 minutes.
Divide into 10 balls and rest 10 minutes.
Roll out each ball between 2 pieces of plastic to 8" round.
To get this size, you need to roll the dough to the thinnest possible.
Cook it on a non-stick pan & flip when the surface starts to bubble.
Cook the other side until the surface has brownish spots.
Serve with your favourite fillings for examples salads, chicken, beef or seafood.
Note: mine i served with potatoes and button mushroom topped with pickled ginger
