Ingredients:
500g chicken
3 medium size onions
1 tomato big size
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
3 tablespoons dried red chilli
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1.5 teaspoons pepper powder or according to your spice level
0.5 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 bunch coriander leaves
1/2 cup water
3 teaspoons gingerlly
1 sprig curry leaves
Method:
In a frying pan add gingerlly oil, once heats up add mustard seeds and dry chillies.
Add curry leaves let's it splutter, add in onions fry till translucent.
Add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smells goes off.
Add tomato and saute it for sometime.
Once it's sautéed well add in pepper powder and turmeric powder, stir occasionally, make sure do not burn, sprinkle some water if needed.
Now add in chicken, saute for 3 minutes, cover and cook for 10 ~ 12 minutes.
Cook until you get the desire consistency.
Sprinkle some of coriander and curry leaves.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
