Meatballs In Peppery Onion Soup





















Recipe sourced: YumYum cookbook magazine, slight changes on some ingredients:
Ingredients:
300g minced chicken
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp cornstarch

Soup:
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp peppercorns, curshed
2 big onions, cut into wedges
1500ml water

Seasoning:
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp chicken stock granules
1/2 tsp sesame oil

1 stalk spring onion, diced
Carrot

Methods:
Meatballs:
Put all ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well. Form into small balls and set aside.
Soup:
Heat up oil in a stockpot, saute peppercorns and onion until aromatic.
Add in water and bring to boil.  Lower the heat and cook until the soup turns into milky white colour.
Add in meatballs and cook till float up.
Ladle, sprinkle diced spring onion, carrot and serve.
